The current tensions around racism in public schooling prompted Dr. Edwards, an assistant professor educational leadership and policy studies, to teach critical race theory assign a audit for doctoral students use the practice. Students were complete their on school campus. However, several refused assignment. Some fear of job repercussions, while others accused Edwards indoctrinating them with liberal political ideologies. This case explores complexity dilemmas that faculty encounter as they engage antiracism teaching during time racial reckoning.
